Our baby is a 2 year old!!

Today is Claire bear's second birthday!! After a good day she is tucked in bed for the night!! We started out our day early. I blew up some balloons for her since she loves them!! We got dressed for the day and I took her to breakfast at IHOP. Chris sadly had to work so he missed out but we are celebrating tomorrow afternoon! Here she is in the zone watching Mickey Mouse this morning before we left.

It was foggy in the morning but the sun finally came out. We are trying to grow some of our own flowers and she likes to help me water them! I got to set them in the window finally for some sunlight since we've been lacking sun for a little while now. I hope they keep growing!

It was too nice outside to pass up walking down the street to the mailbox together! Even though my hips ache, I was great to get some fresh air!

She had to walk backward too since I was walking backward to get a picture of her walking toward me. Goob!

It's a little chilly in the shade so she put on a warmer jacket to play in the backyard! She is looking up at a bunch of geese flying over! They sure are noisy!

Now for the big present!! A trampoline to burn lots of energy on! She loves to jump on our bed and the couches so this is perfect for her! She was so excited while Chris was putting it together!

Birthday bath, birthday suit right before her birthday bedtime!

It was a fun day and we are looking forward to celebrating again tomorrow afternoon once Mom and Joe get into town and again when Sandy comes into town! I'm so proud of our baby girl and the little girl she is becoming!! She definitely has a mind of her own lately but that's normal for her age and we are all learning about who she is becoming!! Happy Birthday to my baby and I'm looking forward to many, many more happy birthdays to come!

Unwanted Sugery

I was in high school still. There was a lady that was after me and she wanted to perform surgery on me. She found me and took me to a room that was mostly white. My bed that I have now was in the middle of the room and I had to lay on it. She numbed me but I was awake. I knew she was going to cut me open. I could smell the blood and it smelled so real. It made me feel a little nauseous. I remember thinking that I know it was going to hurt when she was done.

I couldn't feel any pain after it was done but I remember I was walking home. It was to my Mom's house in Meridian. I was walking down the road and afraid. I knew the lady was wanting to do more surgery when I got back to school. It was lunch time and I must have walked home to get something to eat. I ran into a friend and she said she was going to walk back to the school. I don't think I said anything to her. I got inside of the house and locked the door. I looked out the window and saw an army green colored van kidnap the girl. It scared me because I knew it was the lady who did the surgery.

I called my Mom on the phone and told her I didn't want to go back to school. I was crying and told her that I didn't want to have the surgery again. She told me to just tell the lady that I didn't want to do it. I told her that I didn't have a choice, she was going to force me to do it. Somehow I ended up being able to stay home. I saw that the lady was really mad. She yelled that she wanted her stapler back and she had left it inside me when she did the surgery. I woke up.

Picture Update!

Last week we had a couple of days with some nice weather!! I was feeling good and decided that Claire and I should walk down the road to these ponds. We drive by them often and it's not very far. I thought Claire would love looking at the ducks!! I packed us some snacks and drinks and we took a walk!

There are a couple fountains in the pond too!

If you walk to the other side of the pond and go down the road that leads to our neighborhood!

There are some steps that lead down to the pond. It's nice that it's fenced in though so Claire can get up close without me worrying about her falling in!

We walked back and I decided to sit in the backyard while Claire played!

I love having a deck. It's nice that she can have room to play on her 4-wheeler. We don't really have grass in the backyard so her toys get all muddy if the ground is wet. We put down some grass seed and are hoping to have some kind of back lawn this summer!

Even though it was sunny it was still a little chilly. That didn't stop sweet girl from wanting to play outside for a very long time!! She loves being outside!

Here she is another day! I put on her blue shirt to see if her eyes look a little more blue. I think they do look a bit bluer but still have a darker shade to them now instead of bright blue. They are green/blue depending on what she wears I guess!

Chris took this picture of her the other morning! She's so cute and seems so grown up in this picture to me. I can't believe we have an almost two year old! So unreal!

Here's gooby girl last night before bedtime. It's a Claire sandwich. She started out in her diaper since she's been fighting a fever but ended up taking her own diaper off. After that she ended up in a onesie and woke up without a fever!! Thank goodness!

Busy, Sunny Days!

Yesterday and today have been beautiful days!! Claire and I have been trying to take advantage of the sun as much as we can.

Yesterday we went on a nice, long walk to the big ponds down the road from our neighborhood. We loved it but my hips did not really appreciate it. We took it easy for the remainder of the day. We sat outside and Claire just has a blast!! We eventually made our way to Target to get some milk and I bought sweet girl a box of fat chalk!! Chris had to work late so after a while of convincing Claire to come inside to warm up a bit we ate dinner...delicious french toast, changed into our jammies and snuggled (attempted) while we watched a movie. We didn't make it very far into Emperor's New Groove before I switched it to saved Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on the DVR. She kept bouncing all over the bed during the movie and didn't seem interested. I have a gigantic belly now (which I love) and I knew I couldn't move fast enough to catch her if she were to fall off of the bed. It started to freak me out so I put on Mickey and she finally calmed down!

Today Claire woke up and instantly wanted to go outside. It was a little too chilly and we still had to eat breakfast. We went grocery shopping and it was beautiful outside. Unfortunately I couldn't take her for walk today. Kellyn seems to have decided that my pelvic bone is a good place to put her head (I'm assuming it's her head) so I've been very uncomfortable today. I'm feeling a lot of pressure off and on and my hips are very achy. I definitely have the pregnancy waddle down today. After grocery shopping Claire played in the backyard and then we moved to the front yard. We ate lunch together on the front steps in the sun. I bought an indoor planter thingy that has the little cups of dirt to start your seeds inside. I thought it would be a fun little project to do until warms up and I can plant the flowers outside. Claire helped me and mostly wanted to just dig the dirt out of some of the cups so I'm not quite sure how well those ones will turn out. haha She used her chalk some more, I put new batteries in her 4-wheeler and she ran around the deck like a crazy baby! She must have tired herself out because she has been napping for just about 3 hours now!! Meatloaf is on the menu for dinner tonight and I have never made it before so fingers are crossed that it's delicious.

Sadly Chris is still sick but luckily he has been home for the day. He slept in and has pretty much been relaxing in bed. I feel bad when he's sick. I'm hoping he feels a lot better soon! It's hard to keep Claire away from going in there but I don't want her to get sick also. I also don't want to get sick so I need to wipe down the whole house and I've already washed the sheets that have been coughed all over. haha

I'm just looking forward to a good, relaxing weekend!! I'm almost 32 weeks and feeling so ready today for Kellyn's arrival after the amount of discomfort I'm feeling today. I do still love my big belly and am trying to enjoy all that I can because this could very well be our last little Wold addition to our family!

Kellyn Marlee!

So this didn't seem to be so hard the first time around with Claire. When Chris had suggested her name when I was pregnant with her I just knew that it felt right and that she is a Claire. We knew from the very beginning that if we were having a boy this time that his name was going to be Kellen Scott. It felt right and was so easy. We didn't have a girl name in mind. We obviously found out we were having a second baby girl!! We thought about keeping her name Kellen but Chris wasn't sold on it. He felt it was too much of a boy name. Sandy told us she had a student once named Kellen and it was a girl. After a little while I started to feel that maybe Kellen was more of a boy name and came up with a list of girl names that I liked.

Chris didn't like any of them. He suggested Lindsey. I really like the name and thought that it was a good name to grow with her. It's cute for a little girl and a good name for her as she becomes an adult! After a little while I felt that I wasn't set on it. I made another small list of names and the one Chris liked was Paige. Just like Lindsey, I like the name but I didn't feel set on it. I wanted Chris to suggest a few more names so the other night I bought him a baby name book! He started looking through the girl names and yelled, "You can spell Kellen with a Y!!!". I reminded him that his Mom had a student named Kellen that was a girl and that she and my Mom both liked it for a girls name. Here I am at 30 weeks, I spent $5.99 on the baby name book just for Chris to come back to the name we both loved the whole time! haha

We knew baby girls middle name would be Lee after Sandy, it's her middle name. Claire's middle name is Ann after my Mom and Grandma so it felt right to have it after Sandy! Well one of the names I liked a lot was Marlee. It was a combination of Mark's name and Sandy's middle name!! Neither one of us was set on it as a first name though. I love the name for a little girl but I was having a hard time picturing her as an adult with the name Marlee (I'm not saying it's not a good name, just not for us for a first name!) We liked the flow of Kellyn Marlee and here we are!!

I'm 30 weeks with our sweet Kellyn! I can't wait to finally make her letters to hang on the wall above her crib like I did for Claire! It feels right just like it did when we had it picked for a baby boy! Only 8-9 weeks left until we get to see her beautiful face!
