Sweet Kellyn is 5 months old today! These past 5 months have been wonderful and each month gets better and better. I love watching our little peanut grow and learn who she is! She has a cute little personality. She can be quite noisy at times but I love to hear her voice!
Claire and I did some fun projects while Kellyn napped. We made some colored rice to play with, it was pretty fun.
Today I decided to have Kellyn try baby oatmeal. She did really well and seemed to like it. She didn't eat too much though which is fine. It's only her first time. I'm not sure if I'll keep trying each day or just give her a little taste every once in a while until she's closer to 6 months.
After nap time the girls and I went for a walk to the park down the street. We took Jake too of course! It was a beautiful day outside and perfect weather to fly a kite. Here is Claire throwing Jake's toy for him! He loves to chase it!

We walked home and Kellyn fell asleep!! It was a perfect day to take a nap outside so I sat out front with her. Unfortunately she startled herself awake after about ten minutes so we came inside and enjoyed the rest of the evening.
